Baba, Prague (2010)

The project was born on a small plot near beautiful nature preserve situated among the villas from the thirties and and townhouses from the sixties and seventies.
Design of the house has been adapted to the character of the place where the blend of modern austerity gives the opportunity for personalizing of the space and where real and solid materials are used throughout.
The house was built for a family with two children, where everyone should get their own living space as well as an area for joint meetings.
The request of the family was to accommodate guests in the basement apartment, which also allows for duplex housing.

Nový Knín, (2007)



New addition of dining room and terrace to an old house in a village near Prague.
Clients requested that the extension, which doesn’t deny implementation period, yet will not compete with the original building design. We managed to situate the terrace to have views of the green and the village.

 

Psáry (2006)

Newly built triplex-family house near Prague.
The house is situated south of Prague in an area of modern villas built in the last two decades. It was important to maintain the option to keep the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, which was accomplished by building on top of the property.
The house is designed for a couple who lives there with his mother. That’s why the lower floor is a separate apartment with a terrace.

All solid materials were used.

Čísovice (2005)

New family house in Cisovice south of Prague.
Newly built family house sits within sprawling meadows. The couple requested simple but functional family home that would fit into the character of the rural area.

Břevnov, Prague (2001) 

Conversion of an old roof attic into penthouse apartment in Brevnov near Prague Castle required a sensitive approach to design and construction within the house and its immediate surroundings.
Combination of modern design and use of existing structural wooden elements of the building was adapted.

Petrské nám. Prague (2000)

Complete reconstruction of an apartment in the city center
Fully renovated apartment is in a modernist building from the thirties. The client wished for functional as well as modern and streamline design, which was partially accomplished by changing of the entire layout. Simple and modern materials and fixtures were used, which preserved the character of it’s period.

Slapy (1996) 

Total reconstruction of a summer cottage in the country south of Prague.

The original cottage was built as a kit in the sixties using materials, which at the time were available.
The layout of the cottage was retained, but all materials were exchanged for wooden beams, wood paneling on ceilings and walls as well as new wood plank floors. Basement and lower structure are preserved in masonry.
The layout of the cottage was fully changed. The ground floor is a large open space with the living room, kitchen, new bathroom and WC.
A new guesthouse was also built on the grounds. 
Important request for the cottages to blend within its recreational surroundings, as well as to incorporate aspects of modern living was fully 
accomplished.

Furniture Designs

Parts of newly designed interiors are individual pieces, that give us a sense of uniqueness.
